MORRIS FURNITURE GROUP Established over a century ago, the Morris Furniture Group based in Glasgow now ranks as one of the largest independent furniture manufacturers in the UK. The Group is one of the most dynamic businesses in British furniture and enjoys phenomenal success in every field in which it operates. Comprising seven divisions – Morris Office, Morris Furniture, G Plan Cabinets, Zone, Relaxateeze, Morris Contracts and Groundforce – the Morris Furniture Group is now a leading supplier in the office, domestic and contract market sectors. Our turnover averages £50 million per annum and we employ in excess of 360 mostly at our 1 million sq ft design, production and distribution complex in Glasgow. We are driven by a genuine desire to be the best in every aspect of our business by continually investing and upgrading facilities in the pursuit of excellence. A total of £2m was invested over the past two years alone. As a result, the factory is state-of-the-art with the latest manufacturing machinery and environmental controls. The systems are more akin to the high-tech manufacturing methods of the automotive industry than anything in the traditional furniture business. Our customer services also lead the field with ‘smart’ sales support technology.
